The Wits programme offers its Masters in three versions • Arts and Culture Management • Heritage Management • Media Management Working as part of the team to develop and deliver a training and professional development programme for the International Society of the Performing Arts (www.ispa.org) the ISPA Academy held alongside the annual ISPA Congress in a different major City each year Previous projects Led the development of the curricula for the Wits Master’s courses in Cultural Management the first in (Southern?) Africa from a combination of the Wits template with the established Northumbria courses. (With Jennifer Hinves - 2202) Worked as part of the Project Management of the Newtown Cultural Programme to establish a “Newtown Institute” (with Joseph Gaylard) - focused on entry and development levels in cultural management skills as a collaborative venture between workplace-based training providers in the Creative Industries in the inner city of Johannesburg, Wits University and the City Council Departments for Economic Development and Arts Culture and Heritage. Led the Short Course Unit and Practical Training Programme in Arts Management at City University, London (1979 82).
